Discipline Trainer collects no data. Everything you put into it stays on your iPhone.
The app keeps what you give it — your habits, your daily check-ins and any notes on them, your creatures (their names, stages and stats), their diary pages, and your settings. All of it is stored on your iPhone, in the app's own storage, which only the app and its Home Screen widget on the same iPhone can read. None of it is sent anywhere: there is no account, no server, and no sync.
The app doesn't track you, measure how you use it, or show ads. It contains no third-party code that does.
The full version is a one-time in-app purchase made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account; the app only asks the App Store, on your iPhone, whether you own the full version. The developer receives no personal or payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Now and then — after your creature grows up or comes home — the app may ask iOS to show Apple's own rating prompt, and Settings has a link to the App Store to write a review. A rating or review you give goes to Apple, under your Apple Account, as for any app. The app itself sends nothing, and learns nothing about whether you rated it.
On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence, the words of your creature's diary are written by Apple's on-device language model. The app gives the model only what your creature did that day, and the model runs on your iPhone. The app sends nothing to any server to write the diary.
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled on your iPhone by iOS. No notification server is involved.
Settings ▸ Your Data ▸ Delete All Data erases every habit, creature, check-in and diary page. Deleting the app erases everything too.
The app collects no data from anyone, children included.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
